Can you tell me about the eligibility requirement for Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) Program offered jointly by IIT Bombay-Washington University?

A partnership between Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM) at the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay and Washington University in St. Louis, the Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) is the only one in the world to confer a degree from both an Indian and an American University.

The curriculum addresses business fundamentals, leadership, strategic management themes, growth, and innovation. It includes real-time applications use to enhance personal and professional development and to drive results for organization.

Criteria for Admission

Bachelor degree or equivalent from an institution of higher education,
Good proficiency of spoken and written English,
Functional computer skills,
Minimum 7 years work experience (after completing Bachelor or equivalent) including 5 years managerial experience or equivalent,
Recommended by the employer with a commitment of employer sponsorship, or self-employed with an ability to pay applicable tuition and fees;
Satisfactory performance in a structured admissions interview focused on leadership and teamwork experience and potential.

Executive MBA Program Costs

The cost for Program offered in Mumbai (starting July 2018) is:
Rs. 36, 00,000 for those who sign up and make non-refundable deposit by Dec 31, 2017
Rs. 39, 00,000 for those who make deposit after Dec 31, 2017.

The initial non-refundable deposit is Rs. 3, 00,000. Meals, textbooks, tutoring assistance, study materials, parking, and lodging for class weekends and for international residency are included in the program cost.
