JIPMER PG national level entrance exam for admission to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes in various courses offered under Clinical and Basic Clinical Sciences

About the Examination

The online question have 250 Multiple Choice Questions with single correct response. There will 100 questions from Basic Clinical Sciences and 150 from Clinical Sciences.

All questions will be of one best / correct response type having four alternatives

Basic Clinical Sciences
- 100 Questions - (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology and Forensic Medicine & Toxicology)

Clinical Sciences- 150 Questions –
(Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Community Medicine, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Anaesthesiology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Radio-diagnosis, Radio-therapy, Emergency Medicine, Nuclear Medicine, Blood Transfusion Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine

Marking Scheme :

4 (four) marks for each correct response
Negative Marking - 1(one) of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response
Zero mark will be given for the questions not answered
