The MIT Executive MBA is a rigorous 20-month executive-schedule MBA program designed for mid-career executives poised at pivotal junctures in their careers.

Executive MBA program-

The EMBA program is an opportunity to join an elite forum for innovation and leadership, in which you will develop an edge in your management capabilities and build a network that lasts a lifetime.

Program Details

20-month mid-career MBA

Classes every three weeks on Friday/Saturday

One-week module every six months

One-week international project trip

Application for the Class of 2020:

Application Open: October , 2017
Deadline 1: January 5, 2018 (11:59pm ET)
Deadline 2: March 16, 2018 (11:59pm ET)
Final Deadline: June 1, 2018 (11:59pm ET)

Admission selection criteria-

Undergraduate degree (although in select cases we consider exceptional achievements in lieu of a degree).

At least ten years of relevant post-undergraduate work experience, less than ten years experience is evaluated on a case by case basis.

Employed full time.

Combines strong leadership performance, global perspective, functional expertise, and innovation.

Possesses the aptitude to succeed in a rigorous academic program.

Communicates effectively in English orally and in writing. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) may be required for applicants whose native language is not English.

Although the GMAT test is not a general admission requirement, consider taking the test if you feel that your school transcripts do not adequately represent your academic abilities.

The Application for the Class of 2020 (matriculating October 2018) is available through June 1, 2018 at 11:59pm ET.

Health insurance: All students must have health insurance. You may continue your current US-based insurance if it meets MITs health insurance requirements. Otherwise, you must purchase MIT insurance.
