| shikha | Re: IIT Delhi Polymer Science And Technology The Centre for Polymer Science and Engineering is a constituent of the Centre for Materials Science & Technology established in 1975 under the interdisciplinary program of the Institute for developing and undertaking research on materials for specific end uses. Academic Programs M. Tech. An interdisciplinary M.Tech program in Polymer Science and Technology is currently being offered by CPSE. Students from diverse backgrounds including B.Tech/B.E. in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Petroleum Engineering, Textile, Polymer Technology, M.Sc. Chemistry and Physics are enrolled in the program. The courses offered in the Centre include Polymer Chemistry Polymer Physics Polymer Characterization Polymer Technology Polymer Engineering & Rheology Polymer Processing Polymer Testing & Properties Polymer Coatings Polymer Composites Polymer Blends & Alloys Rubber Technology Engineering Plastics & Specialty Polymer Polymer Nano Materials and Nano Composites The following two lab courses are part of the first year core curriculum: Polymer Science Lab Polymer Engineering Lab PhD The Centre offers both full time and part-time PhD programs and students are admitted twice a year. Students with Masters or Bachelors degree in relevant disciplines with either CSIR/UGC/GATE qualifications can apply.
