Tentative dates Odisha JEE 2017 Online Registration & Choice Filling July 1st to second week, 2017 Choice Locking July 2nd week, 2017 Document verification July 3rd week, 2017 Temporary allotment July 3rd week, 2017 Withdraw July 3rd week, 2017 Final allotment July last week, 2017 Exam pattern There is no separate exam for Odisha Admissions 2017. Candidates were required to appear for JEE Main 2016, which was of 3 hours duration. Test paper of JEE Main 2016 (paper 1) consisted questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, and all questions had equal weightage. Here is the exam pattern- Subject Number of questions Marks per question Physics 30 4 Chemistry 30 4 Mathematics 30 4 Total 90 360 There was only one correct response for each question out of four responses given. One-fourth marks (ΒΌ) were deducted for indicating incorrect response of each question. Selection procedure Candidates will be given admissions on the basis of All India Ranks calculated with the JEE Main 2017 scores and normalized marks of class XII (or equivalent exam) in the ratio 60:40. Eligibility Passed or appearing in 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Geology/ Statistics. The candidate should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together |
