[B]Eligibility for lectureship:[/B]
      
NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors in Universities/ Colleges/Institutions. Provided however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions.
      
[B]For SET Candidates: [/B]
Candidates who have cleared the State Eligibility Test (SET) accredited by UGC for eligibility for Lectureship are exempted from appearing in NET and are eligible to apply for Lectureship anywhere in India.

[B]Age:[/B]
Lectureship: There is no upper age limit for applying for lectureship eligibility.

General - Rs.600/-
Other  Backward  Classes  (Non-creamy layer) Rs.300/-
SC/ST/PwD - Rs.150/-

Paper I - 09:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Unregistered	Ugc net slet Sir would you tell me in which Exam should I participate National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) both conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC). Please provide me syllabus and last year paper for both the exam so I will get idea about their difficulty level.
