The university is a constituent campus of the University of North Carolina system Western Carolina University Climbing Wall facility: WCU is home to one of the most extensive climbing programs in the East, and we have the tallest collegiate wall in North Carolina. The climbing wall typically opens on weekdays at 4 pm, with additional hours for clinics, family climbs, and kids climbs also available.
