Ph.D. in Engineering Disciplines:
Master degree in Engineering/Technology or a Masters degree by Research in Engineering/Technology with a good academic record

Having valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR NET/NBHM or equivalent

Ph.D. in Science Disciplines:
Master degree in Sciences with a good academic record and having a valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR NET/NBHM or equivalent

Ph.D. in Humanities and Social Sciences:
Master degree in relevant discipline with a good academic record and having a valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR NET/NBHM or equivalent

Ph.D in Management:
Masters degree or equivalent PG Diploma or Associateship in a relevant discipline

Qualifying in CAT /XAT /MAT /ATMA /GATE /UGC or CSIR / NET / JRF or Lectureship or equivalent

Financial Assistance (HTRA):
For Ph.D./Direct Ph.D./Upgraded to Ph.D. : Rs.25,000/- p.m. for first 2 years
: Rs.28,000/- p.m. for subsequent 3 years
