Polymers used in drug delivery systems – modules, classification, characterization, advantages and disadvantages of polymer, targeted drug delivery systems–concepts–nanoparticles–liposomes, microspheres– hydrogels UNIT 3 TRANSDERMAL DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEMS 9 Hrs. Transdermal penetration of drugs – formulation – addition – polymers intransdermal drug delivery system– iontophoresis– transdermal controlled release products and devices UNIT 4 IMPLANTABLE DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEMS 9 Hrs.
