MBA (Master in Business Administration) in Wine Business offered by School of Business and Economics at Sonoma State University is the only of its kind and equips students with wine business knowledge and industry-specific tools to deliver results in competitive global wine markets.

It is internationally-accredited and delivered in a part-time format for working professionals (2 years), or a full-time track for students wishing to complete the program in 1 year.

Admissions Requirements

All applicants must complete both online applications:

Statement of Purpose
GMAT Scores are required
1. Complete GMAT with a total score of 450 and at least 20% Quantitative.
2. Designate that you want California State University-Sonoma (OCC8060) to receive your Official GMAT Score Report.

Wine Industry Experience (Applies only to Sonoma MBA in Wine Business program)
2 years of wine industry work experience, or the first two levels of the online Wine Business Management Program are required
Business Prerequisite Courses
If one studied Business as an undergraduate; one most likely has completed the attached list of prerequisites. Send unofficial transcripts for review. Prerequisites must be completed before the start of the program, but can be completed after the application deadline.

International students must meet the admissions criteria set forth by the graduate department.. One may be authorized for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) to be eligible for off-campus work or internships in a position directly related to their field of study.
In addition to the school of business and economic documents, the international student admissions office will request the following:
Transcripts must be official and translated into English before submitting. If one has any college courses completed in ones country.
IELTS official score report must be current
The TOEFL Score Report must also be official sent from ETS.
