State Bank of India hires Indian Citizens for Appointment in Clerical Cadre in State Bank of India

Nationality:
Candidates must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit:

Candidates age must be between 20 years and 28 years

Candidates born between 02-04-1988 and 01-04-1996 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.
Age relaxations will be extended as per govt rules.

Age Relaxation:

Category Relaxation (in years)
SC/ ST 5 years
Other Backward Classes (OBC) 3 years
PWD (Gen) 10 years
PWD (SC/ ST) 15 years
PWD (OBC) 13 years
Persons domiciled in Kashmir Division of Jammu & Kashmir State during the period from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989 5 years

Educational Qualification :

Candidates Must have passed their Graduation in any Discipline from a recognised university, or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

Selection Process :

The examination will consist of three phases, viz.

Phase-I: a) Preliminary Examination (Online):
100 marks (Objective type) – 1 hour

Phase- II: b) Main Examination (Online):
200 marks (Objective type) – 2 Hours 40 Minutes

Phase-III: Interview (subject to Govt. of India approval)

Final Selection:

The Marks Obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for the selection and only the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II) will be added to the marks obtained in Interview (Phase-III) (if interview is held) for preparation of the final merit list. Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the test (main examination) and interview (if interview is held) taken together.
