The important (tentative) dates for TNEA engineering admissions are as follows:

Issue of notification: In the first week of May, 2013
Issue of Application Forms: In the second week of May, 2013
Last Date for Issue of Application: In the last week of May, 2013
Last Date for Submission of Applications: In the first week of May, 2013
Assigning Random Number: In the fourth week of June, 2013
Publication of Rank list: In the last week of June, 2013
Counselling for Sports Quota: During second week of July,2013
Counselling for Vocational Candidates (Phase I): During second week of July,2013
Counselling for Differently Abled Persons : During second week of July,2013
Academic General Counselling: During second-third week of July,2013
B.Arch. Counselling: In the fourth week of July, 2013
Counselling for Vocational Candidates (Phase II): During third week of July,2013

Exam Pattern:
The exam will be divided into two sections:
Part A:
Mathematics, 100 marks
Part B:
Physics and Chemistry, 100 marks

Question Type: objective multiple choice type
Duration : 150 minutes
TNEA exam will contain questions from basic syllabus of Senior Secondary Examination.
