The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conducts the entrance exam for admission into various M. Sc / M. Biotechnology / Nursing and Bachelor of Optometry / B. Sc (Hons) Medical Technology in Radiography / B. Sc (Hons) Nursing / B. Sc Nursing (Post-Basic) Courses.

Eligibility Criteria

For M.Sc./M. Biotechnology

One must posses one of the following qualifications and has secured minimum 60% marks for General/OBC candidates (55% marks for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in the qualifying examination:

• MBBS/BDS (55% for Gen/OBC & 50% for SC/ST Categories)
• B. V. Sc.
• B. Pharmacy
• Bachelor of Physio-therapy (4½ year course)
• B.Sc. degree of minimum three years duration in any subject.

Schemes of Competitive Exams

M. Biotechnology Courses
The question paper for M. Biotechnology courses is of 90 minutes duration consisting of 90 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 90 marks in the subject in which the candidates has applied

Reservation of Seats
Reservation of seats at AIIMS, New Delhi is as follows OBC - 27%, SC - 15%, ST - 7.5%.
If requisite number of suitable candidates is not available to fill up the seats reserved for the Scheduled Castes, candidates belonging to the SC & Vice-versa will fill the same
