I have completed 12th and now want to join Indian Navy so can you please tell me how to join Indian Navy?

You have to clear, National Defence Academy NDA exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission UPSC.

National Defence Academy NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission UPSC for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings.

The candidates Joining Indian Naval Academy would undergo 4 years B.Tech Course and would be given an opportunity to join Executive and Technical Branches of the Navy subject to availability of vacancies.

UPSC NDA Eligibility Criteria

You should have passed class 12th examination with Physics and Mathematics.

UPSC NDA Important Dates

Date of Notification: 18 June, 2016

Last Date to Apply: 15 July, 2016

Date of Exam: 18 September, 2016

NDA/NA Exam Pattern

There are two papers with objective type questions:

SSB Test/Interview 900

The papers in both the subjects consist of objective type questions only.

There is penalty for wrong answers.

General Ability Test paper is divided into two parts - Part A and Part B.

Part A has 50 English questions and Part B has 100 General Knowledge questions.
